Fresh Powder Dry Shampoo

Keep your hair feeling fresh, soft, and restore volume between washes with this effective plant-based dry shampoo. Just a few sprinkles on your scalp absorbs oils and odours, while boosting volume - leaving hair looking refreshed without any residue.

Our all-natural dry shampoos come in a 4oz refillable glass shaker. They are non-aerosol, and are made without talc, parabens, perfumes or other harsh chemicals.

We have crafted three blends for light, medium, and dark hair colours. The base of each is:

• Tapioca starch -  extracted from the cassava plant, this starch absorbs excess oil and sebum without stripping or drying your hair. It is also known to increase blood circulation to hair follicles which encourages hair growth.

• Kaolin clay - this mineral-rich clay removes grime, excess oil, dead skin cells and product buildup, keeping scalp skin and hair follicles clear.

Each blend has an extra ingredient to match your hair colour, but also provide additional plant-powered benefits to your hair. They are:

• Light hair: Powdered chamomile - Chamomile contains anti-septic properties that get rid of dirt and grease clogging hair follicles and promotes hair growth. It prevents buildup of bacteria and germs and keeps your hair feeling clean and fresh.

• Medium hair: Raw cacao powder - Raw cacao contains essential micronutrients, zinc and magnesium in particular, that play a vital role in nourishing hair roots and preventing hair damage. The zinc, copper, and iron, can promote blood flow to the scalp, facilitating better transportation of vital nutrients to the hair roots which results in increased hair volume. 

• Dark hair: Activated charcoal - Our vegan-friendly activated charcoal acts as a magnet to collect dirt and impurities in your hair. It deeply cleanses your scalp and removes any build-up that might be weighing your hair down.

Each blend is lightly scented with 100% pure Bergamot essential oil which also adds sheen and prevents hairloss.

If you would like to have your dry shampoo unscented, please include that in a note in checkout. Please note that even without the essential oils your shampoo may have a light scent from the plant-powered ingredients - especially the raw cacao.

Directions: Sprinkle or tap powder directly into your roots and work the powder into your hair with a large make-up brush, your fingers, or a hair brush. Brush your hair thoroughly to remove any excess powder. We recommend applying to hair just before bed for ready-to-go hair the next day!
