In the language of the Ewe people of Ghana, Amagã translates to "big herb". But beyond this Amagã signifies something much more profound; the incredible gifts the world of plants has to offer, if only we take the time to look.

It's Big Herb Energy.

All of our products are 100% natural and don't contain environmental toxins, so you can feel good about having them in your home, and around your family.

As an organization situated in Mi'kma'ki (Nova Scotia), specifically on the traditional lands of the Wabanaki Confederacy and the Mi'kmaq, Amagã Collective recognizes that it functions on unceded Indigenous territory. We aim to place social justice at the heart of our work, and as a result we feel it is crucial to be informed about the past and ongoing consequences of colonialism and its policies of attempted assimilation, which have often stolen and/or claimed ownership of centuries of traditional Indigenous herbal knowledge and culture.

We encourage all our Amagã Collective community to work on and think about what we all can do to educate ourselves on these issues and foster a relationship with Indigenous communities that is based on facts, truth, and respect.
